jim and i went to hawaii for a family Christmas this year. here i am with my mom in her home. i've been calling her "Beauty Queen" lately so i decided to give her a tiara. she LoVeD it! here we are.. doing the "Beauty Queen wave"

yeah, my mom is a hoot! i think the older she gets the crazier she becomes--in a good way. jim tells people she is an older version of me! we love carrying on together and being silly!
I love your mom! And your dad, too! He's crazy in a good way, too, you know! He said you all had a great Christmas. He sure is proud of you!

we did have a fabulous time! it was great that we could all be together. the Beauty Queen talks about how this could be the last.. naturally, i argue with her on that ; )
