Opening Night!

Last nigt was Opening Night for "Art as Prayer" at Studio 62 in Eureka Springs. What a fabulous turnout and a VERY inspiring exhibit. If you find yourself yourself in the area, be sure to stop by! This is a picture of me with my pieces and the gallery owner, Jody. Jody is an extremely gifted painter. You can see more of her work here

My good buddy Charles Pearce and his friend Kerry... Charles was in a bit of a silly mood and having himself a good old time. Want to see more of his work? Clickhere

Two very dear friends, Randal and Mary, also attended. Randal has an opening reception this afternoon ay Eureka Thyme. Click here to see Randal's work

And finally, my loving and gorgeous husband, engrossed in conversation All in all, a wonderfully enjoyable night with lots of good friends, making new friends, surrounded by stunning and inspirational art. Thanks Ron and Jody!! You guys are awesome.

OH! If you want to see some of Ron's awesome photography, return to the Studio 62 website and click "pinhole photography"

There's lots going on in this town during the month of May. I'll see how many pictures I can capture to share.. but for now, it's off to the studio for me. I feel like splashing paint around!

well, okay.. that was part of it, gl! Charles was rsponsible for encouraging us to come here once he learned we were looking to buy a home somewhere besides california (where we can actually afford the mortgage!)

it didn't take long to fall in love with this place. it is truly a magical place. if you ever find yourself yourself out this way, I have a spare bedroom and an open door!

i will tuck that offer safely away: who knows what the future holds? ;) and of course, if you'd ever like to visit the pacific northwest, the studio is always open for your weary head.
